PROTECTED is a guide with a set of documents for reporting domestic violence to institutions.
It was prepared under the project "Help and Information for People Experiencing Domestic Violence and Gender-Based Violence", funded by the Bulgarian Fund for Women.
The author is Dr. Blagorodna Makeva - an independent human rights consultant, lecturer, researcher and author of publications in the field of prevention and protection from domestic violence, human trafficking, working with children - refugees and migrants, etc.
In PROTECTED you will find all the necessary sample documents for reporting to institutions, safety plans, as well as what the legislation in Bulgaria provides for protection against domestic violence.
Victims of domestic violence often do not know what the options for protection are, as well as what they can ask from institutions. The goal of PROTECTED is to benefit all victims of domestic violence on their way to receiving protection and support.
